We too had to leave a church 3 yrs ago over a serious doctrinal error and plant a new one with all of the families who broke away. It was very heartbreaking for all involved - not returning evil for evil truly takes great humilty that only Christ can give us. Wonderful words today sister.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1873453867984233607.post-57252220322187739102012-11-09T17:04:10.041-05:002012-11-09T17:04:10.041-05:00Lisa,

I want to paint that verse in great big letters on my living room wall :) We keep telling ourselves to do what is right and leave the results to God, but just now the right thing is not clear.Amyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08691765466320690473noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1873453867984233607.post-29873933450207787032012-11-09T14:31:37.705-05:002012-11-09T14:31:37.705-05:00I think that leaving a church must be one of the m...I think that leaving a church must be one of the most difficult spiritual trials for a believer. I had to leave the church that I grew up in (my Dad had been the senior Pastor) two years ago and it was so hard. Verses like this one, and trusting in the sovereignty of God got me through it. We are now settling in at our new church and I now see that it was the right thing to do, but it was really very difficult.<br />Thank you for this encouraging post.Jessica Kramaszhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03961274494762725982noreply@blogger.com
